This page explains, in plain language, what information Melrose Residential collects through this website, why we collect it, where it goes, and what we do with it.
What our forms collect
We only collect what you type into our forms. We ask you not to include medical or personal health details in either form.
Contact form
- Your name and email address.
- Your phone number, if you give it.
- Your relationship to the person you are asking about, or your organization.
- Your message.
- Whether you asked to join the interest list.
- Which version of the form you used: family, referral partner, or general.
Job application form
- Your name and email address.
- Your phone number, if you give it.
- The kind of role you are interested in, and a short message.
- Your resume, as a PDF.
Why we collect it
- To read and reply to your message.
- To send you news about licensure and opening, if you joined the interest list.
- To consider your application for current or future roles.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it goes
Contact form
What you send is saved in our database. A copy is emailed, as plain text, to the Melrose Residential inbox that handles contact messages.
Job application form
Your details and the file name of your resume are saved in our database. Your resume itself is not saved by this website. It is attached to an email sent to the Melrose Residential hiring inbox, and that email is the only copy we keep.
How long we keep it
We will keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above. We will list specific retention periods here before the forms go live.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the service providers that run this website for us, and only so they can do that work:
- Hostinger hosts the website and our email. Every request to the site, including form submissions, passes through their servers. The notification emails that carry your submission, and your resume if you apply, are sent from a mailbox on our own domain that Hostinger hosts, and are delivered to our inboxes.
- Neon hosts our database, where form submissions are saved.
- Cloudflare Turnstile runs the spam check on our two forms. See below.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Spam protection
Our contact and job application pages load a spam check from Cloudflare Turnstile. To tell people from automated programs, Cloudflare looks at information about your browser and device and your IP address. When you send a form, our server asks Cloudflare to confirm the check passed. Cloudflare handles this information under its own privacy policy. The spam check only runs on those two pages.
To limit how many times a form can be sent, we store a scrambled, one-way code made from your IP address and a secret value (a salted hash). We never store your IP address itself, and we delete these codes after 24 hours.
Tracking and analytics
We do not use advertising trackers, ad pixels, or third-party tracking scripts on this website. The Cloudflare spam check described above is the only third-party script, and it runs only on the two form pages.
We plan to use a privacy-focused analytics service to count visits to pages. We will describe what it records here once it is set up.
Asking us to delete your information
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information you sent us through this website.
A dedicated contact for privacy requests will be listed here. Until then, please use our contact page and tell us what you would like us to do.
Health information
This website is not a way to share health information with us. Please don't include medical or personal health details in our forms. If you included them by mistake, you can ask us to delete them, as described above.
