Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We have not completed a formal audit, so we do not claim full conformance. We keep working on it.

What we have done

  • Built pages with clear headings and standard page structure.
  • Made every link, button, and form field usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • Added a link to skip straight to the main content.
  • Chosen text and background colors that meet the AA contrast ratio for text.
  • Written alt text for images, and marked placeholder images as placeholders.
  • Labeled every form field, and explained errors in words next to the field.
  • Turned off scroll animations for anyone who has asked their device to reduce motion.
  • Made pages work on small screens and when text is enlarged.

Known gaps

Photos of the home are not on the site yet. When we add them, and when we add downloadable documents such as the referral packet, we will check each one for accessibility before publishing.
